I want to lay down a backup disc from Dell but I don't know how much it'll cost b/c it didn't say. Have anyone done this b4? Is it a moment ago around 10-14 dollars?

Other disks I needed following (DVD viewer, Disc burning s/w included surrounded by purchase price) were sent to me @ no charge.
If it's a hot computer, definitely contact Customer Service. If it's something they forgot, they'll probably dispatch send it to you no charge. If the computer's modern but software was not included within the purchase price, they may let you purchase it for an auxiliary fee. If it's not a tentative computer it will depend on if it's still under warranty. If it's out of warranty, you may be out of luck.

I enjoy a Compaq Presario SR1800NX computer. It has Intel Celeron D 3.06GHz processor on it. It have 1 GB of RAM, 80 GB of hard drive. It have CD writer, DVD reader on it. I also have a modem. It even has approx. 300 days of Norton 360 vanished on it. It also has Windows XP home edition loaded on it. I am not including the monitor but i am including the baby grand and mouse with it.
The solitary problems i am facing with it are that it hang for few second after few minutes and the cooling fan make noises. Thats the solely problem. How much do you think i will carry if i sell it on ebay?

Yeah quite decent. The simply thing is the processor is a bit slow. You could still let go money by building it yourself but for a prebuilt computer this is good. (Be sure you look at shipping though, i dont muse it'll be cheap.)

Later, if you wanted, you could migrate those files to another location, (burn to back-up DVD, other HDD, etc) and afterwards reformat to the NTFS file format. But, as it stands, you don't stipulation to format, or anything to disturb the 'mule' drive...
P.S. If you wanted to 'DUAL BOOT' next just on startup, walk to bios, and select the other drive for 'boot' device, and you have a simple dual boot. Both OS's still contained by full operation, but the ME won't recognize the NTFS, so that drive will not be accessable...

unsurprisingly, if your ram isn't properly seated, it can't be familiar and so won't work.
the required ram specs are within your mobo's documentation. If you've lost the original documents, the mobo maker's website have 'em online for ya.
some mobos are not tolerant of different spec ram within different slots ... they read the ram contained by the first slot and expect all push to be of same type and specs.
you also have to gross sure you're putting the ram into the correct slots. for example, on my mobo, you can formulate 2 gb run in any of four 512 mb unit, two 1 gb units, or one 1gb plus two 512 mb unit -- BUT only if you put the unit into the correct slots as per the mobo instructions.
some older mobos own jumpers that enjoy to be set to tell the mobo how much bump to look for. my guess would be than no mobo capable of running 2 gb have that ancient feature and I can't guarantee what slop comes out of China.

That's not a setting. Windows reads that information from the motherboard. That's the system you hold. If the label on the suitcase says different, it's the sticky label that's wrong.
You can't change the model number of your workstation, why would you want to. if it is a mistake tell the workstation manufacturer. Also once it get the model # from the pc author, it can't be changed most likely.

If you insist in using a 2.5 try sending a few files at time. for example if you are sendgin 20 episodes of your show do it 2-3 at a time. this shud receive it transfer a bit faster but not much
