You cannot connect more than 2 PATA (CDROM/Hard drive) devices to one PATA controller. That newly can't happen. In your situation, I'd opt to bring a PATA to SATA adapter and attach it to your hard drive. Then connect the HDD to a SATA port, and the two CDROM devices to the PATA controller.

If you enjoy an extra PCI slot you can use that so you'd be able to own up to 6 IDE devices.
well the cd drive and a tough drive CAN work off of impossible to tell apart lead but it's not typical pratice. set up the spare hard disk through external stall.

With this mobo, you can hookup 2 ide devices total. So you could use the 1 firm drive, and 1 cd rom. if you want another drive, you should get one w/an sata nouns. they're roughly the same cost.
If you hold a standard PCI slot available on the motherboard, you can install an EIDE controller adapter card that will provide additional connectors for your elder hard drive(s).
