How do you set your computer to non-attendance settings and how do you format one also?

I be told that I could do this for the answer to my earlier quiz, but I'm not sure how to do either one. I own a desktop computer w/ XP on it.

Thank you

How do you set your computer to non-attendance settings and how do you format one also?

If you are trying to re-load windows and set your BIOS (basic input-output system) backbone to the manufactures settings afterwards follow these instructions. If you want to set the xp program setting back to defaulting then the answer above will work.

1. turn on your computer and study the boot screen. It should prompt you to hit a button to enter the BIOS peak (usually delete key)

2. when the bios screen comes on it should provide you an option to restore the factory default.

3. reboot.

If you want to format a hard disk afterwards place you operating system disk into the cd drive.

1. reboot the system.

2. enter the BIOS as explained above and look under advanced BIOS settings and set the boot drive to cdrom.

3.Your operating system will come up and ask you if you want to create a partition/format the drive. Follow the instructions and next you can re-install windows to you tendency.
Control Panel / Add or remove program / Set program defaults.
