How accurate is this processor compared near this one?

Ok how apposite is the Amd turion64 processors compared with the Pentium processors?

I hear they overheat more than the pentium

How accurate is this processor compared near this one?

The Turion-64 is a mobile processor, and is a better performer than a Pentium-4.

Older AMD chips tend to run faster and hotter than Intel chips in matching price range, but heatsinks/cpu fan handle that, no problem. The stories of overheating you've hear about are from gaming enthusiasts who overclock their systems. When you overclock (run the cpus at speeds difficult than their rating) that generates closely more heat, and requires better 3rd-party coolers. But running at stock speeds, the standard heatsinks are fine.

Currently the best chips on the marketplace are the Core 2 Duos from Intel, followed by the X2 line from AMD. The Pentium series is bygone.
Amd is for gaming while intel is better for streaming video.
Intel makes the better high performance processor. AMDs are cheap crap, they are better at nought.
AMD will have a superior performance rating for gaming also they are smaller amount expensive and have more production.
Amd tl-64,Very good. Both legs of this dual core run at 3200. Most amds run for a moment hotter but cpu fan take care of it. A enthusiast pad for knees tops( amd or Pentium) is allways a good insurrance investment. 12vlt power adaptor for auto too.
