How do you set a BIOS password on a computer and how do you remove it if you forgot it?

I'm using a Dell desktop.

How do you set a BIOS password on a computer and how do you remove it if you forgot it?

ok heres a piece open your computer shield and near the cmos battery-operated there is a 3 pins which the 2 pins are attached next to a plastic thingy connector:

I I I

pin 1 2 3

2 and 3 are connected so you must remove the plastic connector and put it to pin 1 and 2 wait for 5 second and return it to the pin 2 and 3 and vualahhh your password is gone .thats adjectives folks hehehe : ))

note: removing the cmos battery-operated is not recommended it can do system crash in your CMOS system. sorry guys lately being honest hehehe :)
i dont meditate you can or if so you have to reboot your comp
you will own to take the cmos freestyle out and put it back within if its a laptop your sol.
Yeah, what entikryst said ;-)
Not just the battery-operated, you should unplug the power cord too.

Some laptops have a switch beneath the keyboard or on the bottom of the laptop within a compartment such as the memory compartment.
