press F12 when it is booting, if that doesnt work, try F2 or DEL
I have a eMachines T1090 that I pressed F1 to enter BIOS Setup Utility. You might try pressing any key, and holding it until the computer beep,(would indicate to the computer a 'stuck key error'). This might bring up a pane that states what the key is, at the bottom of the porthole. Press Pause/Break to stop the window so you can read it. If none of this works try joining emachines upgraders.com's forum, and ask them. They're site is staunch to just emachine owners. I tried looking up the motherboard instruction book on Motherboards.org,(MOBOT, then be in motion to the top header again, and click on manuals), but don't see eMachines listed anymore. My mobo be made by Trigem, it's a Cognac version.
