How do you hold a harddrive next to window ME Os and spawn it a mule for an OS next to XP?

Not a problem at adjectives. Just plug it in. Ensure that the jersey is set for slave, and the other is set for master. Caution, though, if you use the 2 separate IDE ports on the mobo ( using 2 IDE cables ), later make sure that the Boot HDD is connected to the primary IDE, and the 'mule' to the minor ( disregard if using only 1 cable for the HDD's ). Now the single issues would be the file system. ME is fat32, but XP read that just fine. you lose some of the x-tra added deposit offered by XP, but no conflict issues. Later, if you wanted, you could migrate those files to another location, (burn to back-up DVD, other HDD, etc) and afterwards reformat to the NTFS file format. But, as it stands, you don't stipulation to format, or anything to disturb the 'mule' drive...

P.S. If you wanted to 'DUAL BOOT' next just on startup, walk to bios, and select the other drive for 'boot' device, and you have a simple dual boot. Both OS's still contained by full operation, but the ME won't recognize the NTFS, so that drive will not be accessable...
Mule? do you show a slave Hard drive?
Plug it into the MB and make sure it's not set to bootable. You won't beable to use ME, but the database structure (so long as you chose NTSF) will be avail.
What do you mean mule?
You can spawn the ME hard drive a subsidiary hard drive for XP. EASY.
