How does putting a computer on hibernate work?

Ok, hibernating a computer is resembling shutting it down, but it isn't COMPLETELY shut down. The hardware, for the most part, no longer uses power when within hibernation BUT the RAM cache remains in the excact same state it be when you started up. When you shut down, the RAM chache is completely powered down, losing all unsaved facts. Basically, if you hibernate, it'll start back up again surrounded by the exact same state as you left it.
you newly click hibernate where ever it may be located on your comp.

how it works is it typically locks your comp if you have multiple users and shuts down your running programs such as Internet. and save your files.

and basically rest.

push stays in exact state as when it be before you put surrounded by hibernate.
When you hibernate, everything shuts down except the ram, so that when you start it spinal column up, it looks exactly the same as it did when you shut down.
