How do i increase 200mhz and 24mb total memory to 233mhz and 64mb?

My question would be why would you want to?. 1st: it's not worth the trouble. 2nd: that's the minimum requirements to run XP. XP & other programs that run on XP won't run okay on that system.

If you are determined to upgrade this pc, you are going to enjoy to either look up the processor & bump on the web for compatibility & seller. Or you will need to look for it within your local inde computer stores which might have ripened parts laying around.

Save your $ & simply buy a new laptop. In the long run it will be cheaper & less frustrating. You can catch a pretty good system for give or take a few $500 - $600, which after the system you've been on will do a perfect job for principal surfing, email, & office applications
Buy current components (probably a whole alien computer).

You could also upgrade to Linux as that will run happily on those specs.

Time for a hot computer...
change the CPU as powerfully as the ram, However the specs that you are trying to upgrade to are still no well brought-up for windows XP it will run slower than a dog near three broken legs. what you are after upgrading to will run 98SE, windows ME rather happily and you could draw from away with window 2000 at a push.

I would go zilch less than 800MHZ and 128 better 256 knock against to run XP, but this would still be sluggish
DO NOT PUT XP ON THIS MACHINE YOU DUMB@$$!!!!
