How can I achieve my complicated drive to boot up an additional time?

My rugged drive is gone. I want to boot it up once more to bring the date off of it.any suggestions? Tricks of the trade? Thanks

Place it surrounded by the freezer for a while.
you will need a window 98SE boot disk and a ntfs boot disk.

you can download the windows98SE boot disk form boot disk.com (win98SEboot). Boot up with the floppy at the command prompt type fdisk return if fdisk does not detect your knotty drive you might not be able to access the drive. Use a NTFS boot disk boot it up see if you can access the drive. You can download the NTFS boot disk from bootdisk.com. Since I don't know your OS this is far as I can turn. Windows98SE boot disk will let you hold access to you roms but you can not use scandisk on a NTFS partition. With the NTFS boot disk you might know how to copy files off to another drive.
