How can i connect my computer to my tv?

i want to know how to watch my downloaded movies that are on my laptop, on my tv. i know i probably have to buy a tv card or something but i cant find info on it. it have to be connected thru the white, yellow, red video and nouns plugs because i dont have s-video jack on my tv. give a hand please

Televisions don't usually come with S-Video jacks. If your graphics card as a S-VIDEO out port afterwards you can purchase a SVIDEO->RCA adapter which one end will plug into your svideo port and on the other completion you will have a white plug and a red plug, put these into the go well together color plugs and it should work fine.
Do you have a s-video output on your video card by any fate? If so you can get a s-video to rca adapter for $5 on ebay if you do.
