How can I overt up my Compaq Presario SR1710NX to install more memory?

Well judging by the model number. Mine is an SR1603WM-SE so near should be one big screw on the back. Just unscrew it after slide the cover backward and that should open out the chassis. I struggle with mine. lol.
Basically you lately remove 2 screws on the spinal column of the left side panel. Then you donate the memory. Here is HP's complete instructions on doing so. IT HAS PICTURES!

Keep surrounded by mind you can damage your computer messing around inside it if you don't know what you're doing. You might want to ask a computer-savvy friend to abet you. Once you've done it, it's pretty easy, but it can be intimidating the first time if you've never done it in the past.
