How do i find the company that made the burner within my computer so that i can re install my burner?

1.click start

2. right click on my computer. This will drop a menu

3. Click on properties on that menu

4. Click the Hardware tab on the top of the pane

5. Click on device manager

6. your dvd drive or cd rom drive will be within the list

7. find it double click it.
the cdrw should automatically install - but if you want to see who made the cdrw you own to pull rotten both sides your case (UNPLUG THE COMPUTER FIRST) and unscrew the cdrw - verbs it out and it should say on the top of it.



if you are chitchat about the software - if you bought the workstation from dell or gateway you should be able to re-install it by entering contained by your model number after clicking on support and downloads. if you installed the cdrw yourself and you lost the software you will probably have to buy another cdrw to draw from the software again, thats the cheapest way to buy it.
