My C: drive is partitioned surrounded by two drives, let's call it E and F. I own the main files, software, and operating system within E, but there are some files surrounded by F which are usually my working documents, such as excel and word files. I want my drive to be just one again, to be exact, undo the divider, but keeping everything in E intact, files contained by F I don't care that much since I own copies in a cd.
How can I open a firm drive dividing wall keeping the files intact?
The best software that I know to do this is Partition Magic. You can use this to delete the F dividing wall and then to resize the E screen taking up the space left from removing the F screen. I have used it contained by the past on both FAT32 and NTFS partition with nouns. I would take the precaution of making a stern up of everything before using Partition Magic. Anytime you get changes to the low stratum parameters of the concrete drive something unexpected could take place. Good Luck.
As far as I know, you can only do that beside a utility like PartitionMagic.
