I hold a 2.8 GHz. processor, 1 gig RAM and 256 clear card, but it still lags sometimes when I play on-line games. How can I improve the observation?

you only stated that you own 256 graphics card. i'm guessing that you have a video card beside 256mb of ram, but the model/make of the card can change your performance. you could also hold a low end card as capably. RAM looks ok, although 2gig will give you much more carrying out for most games.
