How do i find out what soundcard my workstation have?

Go into the control panel. (accessed from start menu->settings)

double click on system. within should be a window that pops up. click on device chief...if you have a newer computer(beyond window 95&98) you may find device manager underneath 'hardware' click 'sound video and game controllers' and a submenu will show you what video, nouns, and game controllers you hold. you may have to sift through the document to find your sound card, but since most will hold the word 'sound' or 'audio' in them it shouldn't be easier said than done to find
Get everest is a great program for diagnostics. Go to the site in my sources you'll find it at hand.
You can open the Case and see on the Card. There is written some term over there. If you enjoy already installed the sound card and it is working resourcefully and then you can jump to control panel >>System And click on it. And then Click on the Hardware Tab. And after Device Manager. and on the Sound there you will find the term of the sound card.
follow these few steps and u wld no surrounded by no time:



go to ur desktop, right click on <my computer>

click on <properties>

afterwards click on the <hardware tab>

click on <device manager>

then investigate for Sound, video and Game controller--- double click to see what u've got.



Note: if you can't find my computer on d desktop, try clicking on the start menu, tthere u shld see My computer!
