How can I format my complicated drive on a XP-Pro computer?

How can I bring up the mos-dos command porthole for the same computer?

How can I format my complicated drive on a XP-Pro computer?

Insert the XP installation disk and follow the instructions.
BOOT FROM A FLOPPY AND AT THE COMMAND PROMPT TYPE [WITHOUT QUOTES] FORMAT C: /MBR
To format merely go into My Computer, right click your sturdy drive letter (probably C:) and after click format. Just make sure you hold your XP disk ready to shift too. You can also reformat by inserting the XP disk and choosing to reinstall Windows.

If you want the Command Prompt (there is no such thing as MS-DOS on current computers anymore) go to the Start menu, Programs, Accessories, afterwards Command Prompt.
